Oscar’s proudly serves a delicious seasonal lunch menu carefully created with fresh local ingredients. As the cafe at the Birmingham Museum of Art, we believe a meal should be a beautiful experience in a comfortable atmosphere surrounded by the splendor of art and nature.

Our café is committed to locally sourced ingredients, drawing on the produce of Jones Valley Urban Farm and Owls Hollow Farm, just a few blocks away, as well as many other nearby vendors. Executive Chef Lorrin Rames was trained by some of the best chefs in  America, along with Sous Chef Christopher Cobb.  The food we prepare nicely complements the light-filled open dining room that offers a splendid view of trees and the award-winning Red Mountain Garden Club Memorial Garden.

Visitors can enjoy our menu Tuesday through Friday for lunch and may enjoy our musical brunch on select Sundays. During special exhibitions, we serve lunch on Saturdays.  Please check the Museum calendar for dates and details.

The Museum Lobby may be used in conjunction with the café for larger receptions of up to 600 people. Rental fee is $700.00. Capacity: 200 Seated Dinner, 600 Reception.
